With 8km of pristine water frontage on our 3500 hectare reserve, we are

accommodate 50 guests in our comfortable chalets plus there are two
five star luxury self-catering villa's which can accommodate 8 and 10
guests respectively. Conference facilities are available for up to 60
delegates. Enjoy abundant wildlife and extraordinary bird watching

MEET YOUR GUIDE
No need to feel lucky to spot some of Finfoot’s most sought-after bird species when you’re in the company of our secret weapon: Sarel van der Westhuizen. Known as our bird whisperer, or within the local community as ‘Sarel from Finfoot’, he has over 23 years of guiding experience under his belt, with over eight years at our reserve. He knows the environment intimately and his guided bird walks and tours are a highlight to any visit. Sarel also has a keen interest in photography and would love to help you refine your skills with the lens.

Segways safaris - R265 Per Person
Off-road segway tours are guided. It is a lot of fun and the Segway moves forward by balancing yourself, leaning forward to move forward and leaning back to stop. Helmets must be worn at all times. Bushveld safari – 2hr activity.
Barge Cruises R255 Per Person
Cruise along the banks of the Vaalkop Dam either early morning with coffee or late afternoon with a cocktail. The dam offers a wide variety of bird species for your viewing pleasure.

Canoeing - R105 Per Person
A recreational activity involving paddling a canoe with a double bladed paddle. Accompanied by a guide. Life Jackets must be worn at all times.

Game Drives - R295 Per Person
Experience the bush as it awakens early in the morning or late afternoon. Animals to view are waterbuck, zebra, impala, nyala, kudu, wildebeest, red hartebeest, gemsbok, giraffe, ostrich, warthog, steenbok, jackal, honey badger, genet, caracal and aardvark. Excellent for bird viewing and photography.2hr activity – includes a refreshment stop.
Bush Walks - R85 Per Person
A bush walk does not have to be guided as we have no dangerous game. It is however, suggested to book a ranger for a walk to show you the smaller, more interesting things in the bush which you can only experience on foot. It’s a great activity for photography and bird watching. Guided – 1hr walk
Mountain Biking - Free
The property is 450 hectares and have 23km of roads that can thrill any mountain bike enthusiast. A map of the property is available at reception. Please bring your own bike.
Clay Pigeon Shooting - R 395 Per Person
The sport of Clay Pigeon Shooting involves using a shotgun to shoot at and break a circular flying target made from a fragile material.
25 Clays – 45min activity excluding driving time. Monday – Saturday.

All reservations booked 60 days or more in advance must be confirmed with a 50% deposit payment on confirmation.
The remaining 50% of the total quote payable is required 28 days prior to arrival.

Cancellatiom Policy
- Cancellations will only be accepted in writing

- A 10% admin fee will be retained for cancellations made after the card has been charged.
